Job Title: Supervisor 
Department: Public Cleansing & Waste Collection
     
Job Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for organizing workload, planning task, allocating work and monitoring team performance in order to effectively implement the Operations plan regarding Cleansing Services and Waste Collection in a dedicated site.

Key Accountabilities:
•    Maintain cordial relationship with local/ public in their area of responsibility and gain a good image for the company by representing in a good manner.
•    Train the labors on the job and supervise the implementation of cleaning service as per management plan to maintain high standard.
•    Conduct toolbox talks in order to ensure high standards of safety are maintained while performing the regular operations. 
•    Monitor sectors and ensure the task allotted to the team leaders and labors are completed before the end of their shift.
•    Monitor and ensure the daily collection of general waste, green waste, bulk waste & recyclable waste and maintain the cleanliness of waste bins, tunnels, bus stops, subways and assigned areas & washrooms.
•    Close notifications and sector complaints within the time limit set by the client and update the same to the operations coordinator.
•    Maintain daily attendance and overtime data of the team leaders and labors, verify their physical attendance and digital attendance data and submit to the coordinators.
•    Provide initial medical assistance to the labors at times of work-related incidents and report it to the HSSE department.
•    Distribute the tools and equipment required for daily work among the labors.
•    Report complaints and incidents occurred in the sectors to the Line Manager and HSSE team.
•    Conduct meetings with foremen, team leaders and workers and guide them to achieve consistent performance. 
•    Coordinate with Superiors and other support functions and arrange for resolving work related issues of their team members. 
•    Regular monitoring of workers behavior and report the negative behaviors to the operations coordinators.
QHSE Responsibilities:
•    Ensure compliance with all QHSE policies, procedures, legal requirements, and applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
•    Foster a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to company policies and industry standards.
•    Participate in QHSE audits, risk assessments, and required training programs.
•    Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality and safety standards.
•    Support environmental and safety initiatives aimed at minimizing risks and promoting sustainability.
•    Regularly review and update processes to align with continuous improvement objectives.
•    Actively engage in health, safety, and environmental training to ensure compliance and raise awareness across the organization.

   
Job Requirements
Experience & Qualification
•    Secondary School Certificate / High School Certificate / Diploma in any discipline
•    2 – 5 years of experience as Labor / Field / Site supervisor. 
•    Waste Management industry experience in UAE will be an added advantage
•    MSW Waste supervision experience in UAE will be an added advantage

Knowledge & Skills
•    Intermediate Verbal and written Communication skills in English.
•    Knowledge of Hindi / Urdu / Arabic will be a plus
•    Knowledge of waste management 
•    Knowledge of cleaning tools & techniques
•    Knowledge of safety at worksite and first aid
•    Supervisory Skills
•    Willingness to interact and deal with unskilled workers
