Role Purpose
The Incumbent is responsible for sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events. Also, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, determining the selection criteria and Sourcing potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks.)
Accountabilities
- Works closely with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to ensure a good understanding of the requirements for each role
- Maintain up-do-date record of all approved Recruitment Requisitions received from HR Business Partners
- Post jobs appropriately using the approved recruitment channels
- Be a single point of contact for candidates to ensure consistency of candidate experience and avoidance of any communication gaps
- Ensure that the strategy & initiatives are aligned to the mission of attracting the best talent in increasingly complex organizational needs
- Shortlisting applicants for interview using a variety of selection techniques including competency-based interviewing
- Conduct HR interview and participate in the technical interview with the line manager to ensure a consistent selection process
- Manage and assess the suitability of all applicants against jobs applied to. Headhunt candidates for high level and / or specialized roles from relevant industry, function and market
- Arrange interviews for candidates with hiring managers and / or selection panel and seek and document comprehensive feedback on interviewed candidates from the hiring managers and / or selection panel
- Negotiate salary with candidates and make offers as agreed by HR Business Partners
- Ensure that all documentation is completed at every stage of the recruitment and selection process as per the recruitment procedure
- Coordinate with recruitment coordinator for any logistics, travel arrangements etc. for new hires
- Participates in recruitment drives, job fairs, ongoing research of the industry to collect information on trends and events that impact the availability and quality of resources and recruitment channels
- Maintains a database of candidates for the responsible area to ensure a constant flow of candidates.
- Prepares candidate summary, supporting documents, and prepare candidates for interviews with management
- Receive and greet the new hire on job commencement day and introduce to HR Business Partners who will arrange for the induction and other formalities for new employee
- Compiles a weekly recruitment report, updating line managers and business HR on current status
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role within multinational companies with regional background
- HR certification SHRM/CIPD is an advantage
Knowledge & Skills
- Professional knowledge in talent acquisition best practices
- Effective verbal/writing communication skills in English & Arabic is a plus
- Strategic understanding of staffing tools and electronic job boards
- Technology oriented with prior knowledge of operating applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting software preferably SAP
- In-depth knowledge of candidate sourcing techniques for active and passive candidates
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment
- Business acumen by quickly understanding business operations and its components
- Self-organized
- Market intelligence be able to guide the hiring manager and team to understand what they get for the money spent
- Salesmanship: being able to sell the role
