Social Media Officer

Role Purpose

The incumbent is responsible for planning and executing digital and social media projects and campaigns. Also, the incumbent is responsible for building and maintaining corporate partnerships.

Accountabilities

• Manage social media channels and social day to day activities
• Work on concepts and videos’ storyboards
• Support in monthly social media calendars for all brands
• Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
• Use social media marketing tools whenever needed
• Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
• Design and coordinate on physical campaigns
• Prepare shot lists and attend physical shooting with the media team
• Collaborate with brand management team to create social media content

Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in n in Marketing, Communications, Media or Design, or a related discipline
• At least 2 to 3 years’ work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Arabic Speaker is a must
