Role Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for coordinating, planning, and implementing training programs within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to assess training needs, designing curriculum, scheduling training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.
Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and objectives, prioritizing new joiners independently of their grade.
- Develop and maintain training schedules and calendars.
- Design and develop training programs, materials, and resources.
- Coordinate all logistics relating to training sessions, including venue booking, equipment setup, and catering arrangements.
- Conduct training sessions, either independently or with the assistance of subject matter experts.
- Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Provide support and guidance to trainers and participants throughout the training process.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in training and development.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new training initiatives or technologies.
- Overseeing and monitoring training costs against budgets.
- Conduct and support regular audits of training processes.
- Ensuring that the organization’s resources are efficiently utilized.
- Communicating the correct information and managing any questions from trainees.
Communication and working relationships
- The Training Coordinator typically works in an office environment but may also conduct training sessions in various locations within the organization or externally.
- This role involves regular interaction with employees at all levels of the organization and may require occasional travel.
- Support departments such as Fleet, Municipal and commercial operations.
Qualification and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proven experience as a training coordinator or similar role.
- Well versed in conducting presentations and a vocal public speaker
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) is a plus.
- Great communication and written skills in (English, Arabic and Hindi/Urdu)
- Computer Literate (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Applications etc.)
