Copywriter

Role Purpose

We are seeking a talented and creative Junior English Copywriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing engaging, well-written content across various digital and print platforms, ensuring that all copy aligns with our brand voice and meets marketing objectives. In the role of Junior Copywriter, you will work alongside the content team, designers, and marketing specialists to develop engaging copy for campaigns, social media posts, email newsletters, website content, and other materials.

Accountabilities

• Write clear, creative, and persuasive copy for a variety of platforms including internal communication, websites, social media, email marketing, and print materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content that aligns with brand guidelines and objectives.
• Develops and maintains the brand voice and tone.
• Assist in brainstorming sessions for marketing campaigns, providing fresh ideas and creative concepts.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure correct grammar, style, and tone.
• Conduct research to ensure accuracy and relevance in all written materials.
• Help in adapting content for different audiences, platforms, and purposes.
• Works on multiple projects at once and excels at project management.
• Work with design and creative teams to ensure copy and visuals align seamlessly.

Experience & Qualification

• 1-2 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in a marketing or digital agency environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism or a related field.

Knowledge& Skills

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for storytelling.
• Ability to write in different tones and styles depending on the platform and audience.
• Familiarity with digital marketing, including social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
