Job Title: Agriculture Engineer– Pest Control Operations

Reports to: Project Manager – Pest Control

Role Purpose:

The incumbent is responsible to frame out pest control strategies suitable for the assigned area, analysis of potential factors in the assigned area that can lead to pest infestations, doing risk assessment to build an efficient pest control plans, generating analytical reports that reflect progress, drawbacks, achievements and do necessary coordination and follow up that grant implementing pest control plans by providing instructions and guidance to a group of supervisors, team leader, labors and drivers to ensure proper executing of pest control operations at assigned areas and coordinate with project manager/lot manager.

Accountabilities:

• Maintain regular communication with project manager and grant efficient transfer of manager work scope and strategy to the field team.
• Keep efficient communication with contract owner representatives to solve their complaints and reflect their concerns to the project manager regarding pest control services.
• Preparation of monthly work plans, schedules to cover whole contract scope,modification of pest control executive plan according to field alternate requirements after approval from project manager.
• Preparation of monthly reports of the tasks done and analytical reports that are to be submitted regularly to the client.
• Responsible of preparation, modification and attestation of S.O.P.s
• Major role in coordinating workload of crews; prioritizes job assignments; generate records and reports of activities supervised. Do necessary changes to field operations plan and approve with project manager.
• Should be responsible to monitor daily attendance reports and update any issues to project manager.
• Ensure that all contract terms are fulfilled all the time.
• Monitor the consistency of checkup of the assigned areas for any pest infestation and potential conditions that can trigger pest outbreak.
• Monitoring and organizing daily checkup and reporting of availability of consumables, equipment that they are in proper condition to do the tasks.
• Receiving on daily basis reports from field teams to ensure planed tasks are fulfilled properly and advise for related issues.
• Approval of daily requirement of consumables and report that to project manager.
• Do regular site surveys to make sure the situation on field is under control, take necessary actions and report to project manager in case of need for more efforts.
• Coordinate with authorized inspectors for resolving any concerns related to contract.
• Archive and documentation of all contract related processes.
• Ensure that all team members follow the main company policies.
• Report to the Manager and follow-up on any work related and/ or HSE incidents, near misses and other noncompliance’s.
• Flexible to work on any emergency and public holidays.

Job Requirements

Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences-Pest control specialization
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in related environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge and experience in control of public health pests in addition to equipment and methodology applied in this field.
• Experience in preparing field pest control plans and generating reports that document operations.
• Ability to coach, counsel and manage people
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
